  • What type of 4K HDR signal is compatible with TK700STi?

  • To automatically detect HDR content, please make sure your 4K player is sending a compatible 4K HDR signal to the projector.

    1. Compatible resolution: 4K x 2K (3840 x 2016 in pixels) at 24/25/30/50/60 (Hz).

    2. Compatible HDR signal: 

    •  4K/60p (60 Hz) 4:4:4 supports up to 8bits
    •  4K/60p (60 Hz) 4:2:2 supports up to 12bits
    •  4K/60p (60 Hz) 4:2:0 supports up to 12bits
    •  4K/24p (24 Hz) 4:4:4 supports up to 12bits

  • Which connectivity of TK700STi supports HDR10/HLG?

  • TK700STi will automatically detect HDR10/HLG and display compatible signals by connecting image source to HDMI-1 or HDMI-2 (HDMI 2.0b/HDCP2.2). Besides, USB-A 3.0 (Media Reader) also supports HDR10.

    Note: To automatically detect HDR content, please make sure your 4K player is sending a compatible 4K HDR signal to the projector.

  • Can I use TK700STi to watch Netflix?

  • Yes. It is possible to watch Netflix using either of the following 2 methods: 

     

    1. Use your own laptop’s (Windows/Chrome/MacOS) Chrome browser to stream Netflix then wirelessly cast it to TK700STi.    

    Make sure both TK700STi and the laptop are connected to the same wireless network using either WLAN mode or mobile hotspot mode, then click/activate the "Wireless Projection" app on the home screen before casting. 

     

    2. View with Plug-Ins 

    Watch with an Apple TV / set-top box / gaming console / laptop connected to TK700STi with an HDMI cable. 

     

    Please note that: 

    (1) You cannot cast Netflix on TK700STi via AirPlay because of copyright protection policies.

    (2) There are many apps that can be manually installed from Google Play that allow you to watch Netflix. Please follow these recommended viewing procedures.  (*The quality of service and level of technical support for apps that are installed from Google Play are entirely subject to the respective app’s publishers.) 

  • Can I connect TK700STi to any game consoles?

  • Yes. You can connect TK700STi to Switch, PS5 and Xbox using an HDMI cable.

  • Can I connect TK700STi to Bluetooth speakers or headphones?

  • You can connect TK700STi  to your headphones, or connect other Bluetooth speakers to the ATV dongle.

  • How should I adjust the ceiling mount position If I upgrade from BenQ 1080p projector HT2150ST , TH671ST to 4K TK700STi with 100'' screen?

  • To project a screen size of 100 inches, TK700STi would require a minimum distance of 6.5 ft (1.99m); HT2150ST would require a minimum distance of 5 ft (1.5m); TH671ST would require a minimum distance of 5 ft (1.5m)
